Welcome to LocalMall. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Platform Role & General Services

LocalMall operates solely as an online marketplace platform (facilitator) connecting local businesses (“Vendors”) with customers. LocalMall acts as an intermediary for listing products and facilitating order placement. LocalMall does not manufacture, store, inspect, or directly prepare any goods sold by individual Vendors. The sales contract for any item purchased is made strictly between the Customer and the respective Vendor.

2. Orders, Pricing & Payments

• All orders placed through the platform are subject to acceptance and fulfillment by the respective Vendor.
• Payment options (online payment methods or Cash on Delivery where offered) are processed securely.
• Prices, taxes, and delivery charges are displayed at checkout prior to order confirmation and are determined by the Vendor.

3. Vendor Responsibilities & Product Liability

• Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, descriptions, pricing, inventory, quality, and compliance with applicable UK laws.
• Food Safety & Allergens: Where food or digestible items are sold, the Vendor is strictly responsible for food safety, hygiene, and full disclosure of allergens. Customers with severe allergies must contact the Vendor directly prior to placing an order.
• LocalMall assumes no responsibility or liability for product defects, mislabeling, delays, or physical harm resulting from products provided by Vendors.

4. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

• Cancellations and return requests are subject to the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and each Vendor’s individual return policy.
• Where applicable, return or refund inquiries should be initiated directly with the Vendor or via LocalMall customer support for mediation.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, LocalMall shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or business interruption, arising from your use of the platform or purchases made through third-party Vendors.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
